C -- ASIA REGION PROJECT ANALYST CONTRACTOR DUE 061896 POC Della Glenn, USTDA, Room 309, SA-16, Washington, D.C. 20523-1602, Tel: (703) 875-4357, Fax No.: (703) 875-4009 The U.S. Trade and Development Agency (TDA) intends to procure, on a sole source basis, follow-on services from Richard A. Abizaid under statutory authority 41 USC 253 (c) (1), as implemented under FAR 6.302-1, to provide project analyst services to the Asia Region including initial screening of project proposals, implementation of orientation visit and conference activities, tracking of projects in the region, and completion of necessary documentation for the project lifecycle. TDA has determined that it is likely that award to a source other than the original source would result in (i) substantial duplication of cost to the Government which is not expected to be recovered through competition, and (ii) unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's needs. The period of performance is from May 13, 1996 - May 13, 1997. The proposed contract action is for one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. This synopsis is a notice of intent to place a contract and shall not be considered a request for offers. (0123)
