The US Department of Labor intends to enter into sole source negotiations with the Employment Security Systems Institute, an agency of the Kansas Department of Human Resources,for the following services: develop and implement an automated data collection system that will enable the Veterans Employment and Training Service (VETS) to obtain accurate and timely data in order to analyze the services provided to veterans through its various programs. The system will involve enhancements to existing Employment and Training Administration (ETA) and VETS reporting systems which the Employment Security Systems Institute maintains. Also provide technical assistance to the various State Employment Service Agencies (SESAs). Anticipated cost for this requirement is approximately $50,000.
