Phila. intends to acquire Contractor Engineering and Technical Services in support of AN/APM446 Radar System Test Sets. The requirement is for an estimated 9 manmonths of services during the period 1 July 1996 through 31 March 1997. The requirement will be covered by a modification to an existing contract. The place of performance is various fleet and shore activities. The eventual contract action is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Electronics & Space Corp. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Electronics & Space Corp. is the only supplier of the services at this time. This firm is the Original Equipment Manufacturer and the only known source with the required technical and engineering expertise, in-plant support, and database to perform the required services.
