R -- R425, POST DEPLOYMENT SOFTWARE SUPPORT (PDSS) FOR THE ANTI-JAM CO MODEM (AJCM) SOL DAAB07-96-R-H508 DUE 060396 POC Gail Jablonski, Contract Specialist, (908) 532-4351/David Concilio, Contracting Officer. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is for the non-competitive acquisition of software engineering services for the CECOM Software Engineering Directorate (CSED) to support the Anti-Jam Control Modem (AJCM). The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Harris Corporation, Melbourne, FL, for an Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Time-and-Material (T&M) type contract for a period of twelve (12) months with four (4) twelve (12) month option periods. Authority for this action is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(b)(1). The effort entails Post Deployment Software Support (PDSS) including analyzing, correcting, developing, and testing new software versions in response to trouble reports from the field users, and support functions including configuration management and quality evaluation. As the developer of the AJCM, the contractor has unique knowledge of the specific software and there is no data package available. This announcement is for informational purposes only.
