pocket gopher populations on Forest Service land by treating with
strychnine alkaloid (0.5%) poison gopher bait. Application of bait will
be made with metal baiting probes/applicators and/or with long handled
spoons. Contractor shall furnish all equipment, bait, labor,
supervision, transportation, supplies and incidentals necessary to
complete the job. The work areas are located on the Oak Knoll Ranger
District, Klamath National Forest, Siskiyou County, California. This is
an indefinite quantity contract with an option year. The government
shall order a minimum of 200 acres and a maximum of 792 acres of gopher
baiting on the base year item. The government shall order a minimum of

year item. The contractor must have a valid California and Oregon Pest
Control Operator's License. Date for receipt of bids has not
established, but is estimated to be in mid June 1996. When calling, be
