Sources sought to provide design and construction for 67 new family housing units at Naval Air Station Fallon, complete and ready for use. The work includes construction of buildings that shall be single story duplexes made up of 21 two-bedroom, 31 three-bedroom and 15 four-bedroom units. The option to design and construct an an additional 13 units (as previously stated in the presolitation notice) has been deleted in its entirety.--The contract is to be awarded to the responsible offeror who submits the proposal considered most advantageous to the Government considering ''Price'' and ''Technical'' evaluation factors. The following evaluation criteria has been established: Factor 1 (Price) and Factor 2 (Technical) which are weighted approximately equal. Within the ''Technical'' factor, the following subfactors are listed in order of importance: Subfactor ''A'' Design and Construction, Subfactor ''B'' Schedule, Subfactor ''C'' Contractor/A-E/Subcontractor Experience and Qualifications, Subfactor ''D'' Subcontracting Effort.--A pre-proposal conference will be held on Monday June 10, 1996 at the ''Four Top Club'' following a site visit scheduled for 9:00 a.m. same day. Individual drawing files are compressed into a single self-extracting DOS based .EXE file. Upon downloading, the file should be executed from a local harddisk, causing the individual .DWG files to uncompress automatically without the need for special software. Note that drawings not produced using CAD software are not included and some substitutions for fonts and menus may be necessary to access the file.
