Remodel the service and post office box lobby at the General Mail Facility, 1760 West 2100 South, Salt Lake City, Utah per specifications. This work includes demolition, new walls and doors, revisions to counter units, relocation and installation of lock boxes and parcel lockers, and installation of new flooring (carpet & VCT tile). Also included are revisions to mechanical, plubming and electrical systems and other changes related to this project. Project to be completed in phases to ensure uninterrupted Postal operations and customer access to the facility. Solicitation will be issued on or about May 6, 1996, with a closing date of June 6, 1996 at 10:00 am. Construction cost range is $300,000 to $350,000. Bonding is required. There is a $10.00 non-refundable charge for each copy of plans and specifications. Requests for copies must be in writing with a check or money order included. CASH WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
