Specialist, 303/969-2540. Work consists of furnishing 540 linear feet
of double Floating Boom Breakwaters. Breakwaters shall consist of two
18 to 24 inch diameter steel tube parallel booms, no more than 25 feet
in length nor less than 15 feet in length, permanently attached
approximately eight foot on center comprising one section. Each section
shall be capable of being joined at each end to another section with
heavy chain or cable or to anchors on shore or under water to make
straight breakwaters of indefinite length. It is anticipated that three
breakwaters of different length shall be constructed and placed at
various locations on Blue Mesa Reservoir. Breakwater sections shall be
furnished with all necessary cable, chain, connection points, fittings
and hardware, EXCEPT anchors and anchor cable, necessary for the
National Park Service to install the breakwaters. The works is located
at Curecanti National Recreation Area, Colorado. SIC code 3443; Size
