The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Oncor, Inc. for an Image Analysis Videometric 150-3 System under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 in accordance with 41 U.S.C 253 (c) (1). It is the governments belief that this products unique specifications can only be met by Oncor, Inc. The SIC Code is 3821. This is not a formal solicitation. Interested parties are invited to identify their interests and capability to respond to our requirements. Alternate sources will be considered only if (1) clear and convincing documentation (including technical and pricing information) is furnished within 15 days of the publication of this synopsis, (2) the proposed technical information meets the needs of the Government to consider alternate sources. If it can be established by examination of documentation submitted that an acceptable alternate source is available, the Government may decide to re-synopsize as a full and open competitive procurement. If no affirmative responses are received within 15 calendar days of the publication of this notice, a contract will be negotiated with Oncor, Inc., subject to the availability of funds. (0124)
