The objective of this effort is to provide Information Technolgy Help Desk Support Services for Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) support services at Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Headquarters, with similar services to be provided at the nine FHWA Regional Offices, as well as the field offices of the Federal Transit Administration, and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The required services consist of help desk management and support, Local Area Network technical and operational support, Wide Area Network technical and operational support, hardware and software maintenance and support, and technical assistance and support for FHWA's Electronic Record Keeping System which is currently installed at eight locations. A 5 year contract is contemplated with a base year and four 1 year option periods. Approximately 45 professional staff years per contract year is estimated to be the level of effort required. This proposed effort is a competitive 100% set-aside procurement, limited to eligible 8(a) concerns. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 7376.
