Tennant, Jr., Contracting Officer, (301)713-0823 The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration requires the services of a contractor to conduct an independent scientific study of the Red Snapper (Lutjanus campecheanus) stock in the Gulf of Mexico. The contractor will be required to examine available data and conduct appropriate analysis to develop scientific advice for the management of Red Snapper in the Gulf of Mexico. Specific tasks include: (1) review of existing data and documents; (2) development of a written work plan on what analyses are most appropriate and why; (3) conduct of those analyses; and (4) development of a ''Report of Results of the Investigation.'' The period of performance shall extend from the effective date of contract award through six consecutive months. The solicitation will be issued on or about May 28, 1996 and will close on or about June 28, 1996.
