T -- PRINTING OF DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS SOL 52SBNB6C9164 DUE 052996 POC Paul Cataldo (301) 975-6332 The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for the reproduction of solicitation packages and amendments which consist of bound drawing sets in full size (840mm x 1200mm) and a half size (420mm x 600mm) white print blueline and bound specifications (8 l/2'' x ll'' with ll'' x 17'' folded inserts). Quantities for each delivery order are estimated at a maximum of 75,000 to 200,000 drawings and 120,000 to 320,000 specification copy sides. The Government will provide the Contractor with one set of one-side camera ready specification originals and one set of Mylar reproducible for both the initial set of solicitation documents and for each amendment to the solicitation for each project. The Contractor shall pick-up a copy of documents to be reproduced within 24 hours of notification. The Contractor shall ship directly to third party requesters and handle all order and payment matters independently. Orders shall be shipped within 2 working days after receipt. A list of requesters who buy sets of documents shall be maintained by the Contractor and made available to the Government. NIST anticipates awarding a single fixed price indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity type contract for a three year period of performance with seven successive one-year option periods. Production area, assumed 100 km (62 mile) radius of NIST, Gaithersburg, Maryland. Offerors outside area must furnish documentation of their ability to meet schedule. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns (SIC Code 7334, Size Standard $5.0M)--See Numbered Note 1. The Government is using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Requests for the solicitation package shall be in writing only and faxed to 301-963-7732. All requests shall be received within 7 days after the publication of this announcement with the solicitation closing date 14 days thereafter.
