Stringer (205) 895-1152 (Site Code DACA87) Offeror shall provide all
services, personnel, materials, audio visual aids, training aids and
travel and lodging to revise/update the existing student course
materials and instructor teaching materials and administer and present
course of instruction entitled ''Architectural Hardware - Quality
Verification''. The offeror shall provide an instructor team which
shall not exceed four instructors for the Architectural Hardware - QV
course. This course develops new skills oriented to the quality
verification of hardware used in building construction and updates the
student's knowledge of current industry practices and changes in
specifications. It also provides training results in a more effective
quality assurance. This session will consist of 36 hours of classroom
instruction. Course location, date and session number is: Session
96-01, 29 July-2 August 1996, Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX. Option years for
FY97 and FY98 will be included in the contract with dates and locations
to be determined at a later date. Evaluation criteria will be set forth
in the solicitation scheduled to be issued on or about 17 May 1996 with
a closing date of 17 June 1996. Copies of the solicitation shall be
obtained by written request at no charge. One set of the course
material may be obtained from this office at a cost of $50.00
(non-refundable). Payment will be made by certified check, cashier's
check, or money order payable to: Finance and Accounting Officer,
USAESC. Telephonic requests will not be honored. All responsible
sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
The Standard Industrial Code applicable to this procurement is 8999.
For the purpose of the solicitation, any concern whose gross annual
receipts over the past 3 years do not exceed an average of $5 million
is considered a small business. Contractor must indicate business size
