Z -- SITE POWER DISTRIBUTION UPGRADE Sol DAAC89-96-B-0012. Due 061296. Contact Cheryl J. Henwood, 801/833-2608/ Contracting Officer. Upgrade the existing obsolete 208 volt and 480 volt main distribution panels. This will include changing to solid state breakers, putting a motor actuator on each breaker 200 AMPS or higher, and adding status signals for CMO monitoring and control. The contractor shall provide, install and test a new 2000 amp switchboard and 2 each 1200 amp distribution panels, circuit breakers, metering, ground fault protection, empty panels for a 1000 amp automatic transfer switch, and wire pulling and all ancillary equipment and parts necessary to replace the existing 480 volt power distribution system. The construction site is located at the CAMDS Site, Tooele Army Depot, South Area, Tooele, Utah. This is a restricted area requiring the contractor to attent a Chem-Surety Training Class and be fitted for a proper gas mask. The estimated magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000.
