Z -- REPLACE/MODIFY P-PLANT REFRIGERATION UNITS SOL F40650-96-B-0033 DUE 062496 POC Sue Tate, Contract Specialist, (615)454-7841 The existing refrigeration system in the Propulsion Wind Tunnel's (PWT) P-plant consists of two Trane refrigeration units using R-11 as the refrigerant. The primary unit is rated at 720 tons capacity and the secondary unit is rated at 780 tons capacity. The refrigeration units have a common ethylene glycol circulation system and heat exchanger coils. This requirement is for the turnkey engineered conversion of both refrigeration units from R-11 to HCFC123. Nameplate performance and capacity must be maintained while using HCFC123. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Any responsible source may submit a bid which will be considered.
