All components must be linked to a common grounding point. The work surface benches must provide for continuous conductivity along the front edge of the work surface with a required surface resistivity of 10/6 to 10/9 ohms/sq. All drawers must provide the same static control protection as those at the work surface. Benches must have built in grounding jacks for wrist straps. Powered shelf supports must be isolated from the dissipative element of the work surface and the entire workbench by way of a non-conductive barrier. All items must be delivered no later than 45 days ARO. The Simplified Acquisition Procedure (SAP) will be used in solicitation and award of contract. This requirement is reserved for small business. Sic code is 2542, size standard 500 employees. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for quotation. Accordingly, a written solicitation will not be issued.
