(703)787-1354 The Minerals Management Service (MMS) Gulf of Mexico
Outer Continental Shelf Region anticipates a temporary surge in work
requiring geophysical analysis beginning approximately June 1996. To
meet this need, MMS anticipates contracting with one or more
organizations who can supply from 3 to 15 highly qualified
geophysicists on a full time basis for up to one year. THERE WILL BE AN
ORAL SOLICITATION PROVIDING ALL OF THE DETAILS IN NEW ORLEANS ON
APPROXIMATELY MAY 22, 1996. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE
PUBLISHED. Following the oral solicitation, interested parties will
have two weeks to submit capabilities statements which will be
evaluated by MMS to establish a list of qualifying competitors. Those
qualifying will then be invited to prepare a more detailed proposal and
an oral presentation by approximately June 17. Interested parties
