the Office of the Secretary of Defense the Sacramento District of the
Corps of Engineers intends to negotiate with and award a contract to
the Skull Valley Goshute Indians represented by their attorney, Mr. D.
Quintana Associates, PC, on a sole source basis. The contract's
purpose is to investigate the contamination at the Sheep Burial Site
located on the Skull Valley Goshute Indian Reservation, a formerly used
defense site (FUDS), near Dugway Proving Grounds, Tooele County, Utah.
Investigation will be done through soil sampling and analysis and
literature search including investigation reports, Government records,
and any other data to result in an evaluation report summarizing the
findings and including recommendations as to additional investigation
required, if any. Responses to the announcement should be mailed to the
U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District, Contracting
Division (Ms. Judy Grant), 1325 J Street, Sacramento CA 95814.
