The Air Force Flight Test Center intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Timeplex, Norfolk, VA to provide engineering and support services and replacement parts for Timeplex equipment unless responses to this synopsis reveal other sources capable of satisfying the requirement. The requested services include the following: Diagnostic service shall include remote, voice/fax, diagnostic assistance on designated equipment, seven days a week, 24 hours per day. Field engineering services will be upon request to perform diagnostics and repair of designated equipment within twelve (12) hours. Standard repair service shall include: exchange, repair, refurbishment, and OEM initiated Engineering Change Order (ECO) installation for designated equipment. All parts furnished shall be new standard parts or parts of equal quality. The contractor will be required to meet the following priorities: Express: Provides emergency overnight carrier delivery service of replacement parts in exchange for the inoperable part. A new part or part of equal quality shall be provided. The Government shall return the inoperable part within a reasonable amount of time (not to exceed 10 days), Priority: Exchange shall be completed within five (5) work days of receipt by the contractor of inoperable part, Repair: Repair and return the repaired part within two (2) weeks after the receipt of the inoperable part. All maintenance, repair and parts shall be made available at NISE West, San Diego CA, CARIBROC, Key West, FL, Ground Electronics Maintenance Department, Key West, FL, NCTAMS Lant Det, Key West, FL, Edwards AFB, CA, NavComDet Guantanamo Naval Base Cuba, AAWC Guantanamo Naval Base Cuba.
