Q -- RADIOLOGICAL TECHNICIANS SOL IFB 688-42-96 DUE 062196 POC Tyrone Lassiter, Contracting Officer The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Washington, DC, requires the services of Diagnostic Radiological Technicians to include Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), X-Ray and Ultrasound Technicians, on an as needed basis, 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. Multiple awards (maximum 3) are anticipated. The contract shall be for one (1) year from the date of award of the contract, subject to FAR clause 52.232-19, Availability of Funds for the Next Fiscal Year, with the option to extend for four (4) additional option years subject to FAR clause 52.217-9, Option to Extend the Term of the Contract. Offers will be evaluated for options in relationship to the prices for the basic requirement. Bids that are found to be unbalanced will be rejected. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for small businesses. Offers will be considered only form those bidders who are regularly established in the business called for and who are financially responsible and have the necessary equipment and personnel to furnish the services required under this contract. The successful bidder shall meet all requirements of Federal, State and local codes governing this type of service. All requests for this solicitation must be made in writing. Faxed requests will not be accepted. Solicitations will be available approximately 15 days after the date of this publication.
