The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) seeks qualified professional services under a Labor-Hour Contract to assist in the operation and management of the Office of General Counsel's legal Communications Center. This facility is located within PBGC's Office of the General Counsel. Among the various tasks that the contractor shall be required to perform, in an environment that is quickly moving toward heavy computerization, are: records management and file control, including file organization, maintenance and barcoding; mail, fax and document control including data entry; and ad hoc projects related to the various administrative services provided by the Communications Center, all as more fully described in the Statement of Work for these services. The Contractor shall provide all supervision of contract personnel and management of contract operations and should have prior experience in providing such services in a law office or corporate legal environment. It is anticipated that the period of performance for the base year will be from October 1, 1996 to September 30, 1997, with four one-year options for renewal.
