S -- TREATMENT AND DISPOSAL OF LEWISITE NEUTRALIZATION SLURRY Contact Contracting Officer Benjamin A. Veri, 801/833-2327. This is a Sources Sought Synopsis to identify sources for the treatment of Lewisite Neutralization Slurry. The contractor will furnish all materials, equipment, guidance, and training needed for Government personnel to stabilize the neutralized slurry and liquid waste streams generated from the Lewisite Neutralization Process and prepare it for transportation off Government property. The contractor shall perform necessary chemical analyses, provide appropriate guidance to the Government, and certify the stabilized waste meets the Land Disposal Rules as outlined in 40 CFR 268. The stabilization facility will be designed to process, as a minimum, 600 gallons of liquid per day. The Contractor shall furnish all services to include labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and transportation required for removal and disposal of hazardous wastes from the stabilization process in accordance with all federal, state and local solid and hazardous waste laws and regulations, specifically the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). Interested sources must provide documentation showing capabilities and experience (brochures, literature, quality programs, etc.).
