THIS PRESOLICITATION IS BEING ADVERTISED ON AN ''UNRESTRICTED'' BASIS
INVITING FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. A SOLICITATION NOTICE WILL BE
PUBLISHED BEFORE INVITATIONS ARE ISSUED. The work includes selective
repairs and improvements to two housing areas on the installation.
(1)Ladd Circle Married Enlisted Quarters (MEQ) contains 100 four and
five bedroom townhouse units in twenty-five buildings. The work in this
neighborhood includes: limited regrading and landscaping, replacement
of selected curbs and gutters, resurfacing of roads, new driveways,
carports and walks, new storage buildings, new patio covers new privacy
screens and yard fencing with gate, new insulated front entrance doors
with combination storm/screen door, new closet doors, new insulated
vinyl windows, carpet and resilient flooring, subfloor repairs, gypsum
board work, kitchen sink faucet modifications, HVAC modifications, new
water line valve boxes for refrigerator ice makers, new sanitary sewer
clean outs, new lighting and modifications to electrical power
systems. (2)Sylvester Drive Married Officer Quarters (MOQ) contains six
quarters to be revitalized, two single family houses and two duplex
structures. The Commanding Officer's single family quarters is not
included in this contract. The work in this neighborhood includes:
regrading to improve drainage, limited landscaping, new concrete
driveways, replacement of sewer laterals, new bathroom and laundry
additions, new garages, renovated kitchens, conversion of screen porch
to den, new entrance doors and closed doors, new resilient flooring,
gypsum board work, HVAC equipment and HVAC closet improvements, water
line and gas line modifications, new lighting and modifications to
electrical power systems. For Plans and Specifications: There is a
