Anticipated is a requirements type (fixed unit pricing) contract for the U.S. Customs Service and other Federal law enforcement agencies (Drug Enforcement Administration, U.S. Marshals Service, Secret Service, Internal Revenue Service, and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms) for the purchase and delivery f.o.b. destination of (1) Dialed Number Recorders, and (2) Call Simulators for a base contract period (FY 96) and four option year periods (FYs 97, 98, 99, 00). A total of 55 units is estimated for each item type for the base contract period, and 45 units for each option period thereafter. The DNR must be able to record dialed digits as provided by various telephone companies around the country and must be able to decode both Dual Tone Multiple Frequency and Multi-Frequency signals and output them to an MS DOS computer environment, ASCII file, for analysis by a variety of analysis programs in use by the U.S. Customs Service. The Call Simulator is required to test many different types of DNR units. It must generate telephone calls, caller ID, and ringing just as if it were done by the telephone system. Requests for the solicitation must be in writing on company letterhead. This is a 100 percent setaside for small business concerns. See Numbered Note(s): 1. (0128)
