The Coastal Systems Station, Dahlgren Division, NSWC intends to procure one wideband acoustic transducer (International Transducer Corporation part no. ITC-5448, or equivalent). The following specifications apply. Frequency band of Use: 30 kHz-110 kHz; Beam Pattern Shape: Conical; Beam Width (-3 dB): 10-20 degree within frequency band of use; Midband sensitivity: -185 dB/uPa, minimum; Sound Pressure Level: 210 dB/uPa@1 m over frequency band of use; Operating depth: shallow (less than 10 meters); Construction: single acoustic array approximately 9 inches in diameter with three sections each connected to one tsp of cable; Housing dimensions: Overall dimensions approximately 12 inches in diameter by 7 inches thick; Housing/face material: anodized aluminum and urethan. It is anticipated that this will be a firm fixed-price award. Delivery shall be to Coastal Systems Station, Panama City, FL FOB Destination.
