Commission(SEC) requires a domestic data base and a foreign data base
containing both current and historical financial data. The data shall
be updated weekly for the domestic data base and monthly for the
foreign data base and provide comprehensive coverage for the past 20
years(domestic data base) and the past 10 years(foreign data base). The
data will be accesssible through menu-driven software in a DOS Windows
environment, which can be accessed off-line by personal computer. The
SEC intends to award a five-year contract to Standard & Poor's
Compustat Services Inc. for these financial data bases. This data base
requires standard data definitions and financial data conformity to
