contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment and all
material to accomplish and packaging of the F110 engine fan temperature
control. A Firm Fixed Price Requirements type contract is contemplated
for One Year, plus one One-Year Option. The Items and Best Estimated

Aluminum. Dimensions: not given. Description and Function: The EFT
control is a modular, solit-state devise that is mounted on the F118-
GE-100 engine. The main features of the EFT control are as follows: a
The aluminum chassis contains 20 encapsulated modules, an
electromagnetic interference (EMI) filter assembly. One pressure
sensor, and seven external electrical connectors. b. the EFT control is
fuel-cooled by fuel flowing through tubing brazed to the chassis. c. A
single insulation cover protects the electrical components on the
module side of the chassis. Two connector brackets and three flat
covers enclose and protect the electrical components and fuel cooling
tube on the filter side of te chassis. Side covers provide double wall
thermal protection. d. Each of the 20 separate modules contains
printed wiring boards, active and passive electronic components and
wiring encesed in a metal can. The module cans are filled with soft
potting compound that recuces component vibration. Interconnection pins
extend through the potting to provide wire connection points between
modules, connectors, pressure sensors, potentiometers, and the EMI
filters. The top cavities of the modules are filled with clear potting
and are covered with waterproof adhesive t retain the wiring and
