The Contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, temporary housing, transportation, licensure and medical insurance to provide orthopedic surgical services to IHS patients at Gallup Indian Medical Center (GIMC), Gallup NM. Orthopedic services are required on a 24-hour basis in accordance with the monthly call schedule. GIMC will require between one (1) to four (4) orthopedic surgeon/s to adequately staff the orthopedic department. GIMC's orthopedic department averages approximately 7,300 visits on an annual basis . The orthopedic surgeon/s must be board eligible/certified with the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and possess a current valid license issued by any state of the United States of America, District of Columbia, the commonwealth of Puerto Rico or a territory of the United States. Resultant contract will be an indefinite quantity-type contract for a twelve (12) month period with two (2) one (1) year option periods.
