the Government's intent to solicit and negotiate under the authority
of 10 U.S.C. 2306(c)(1) with only one source, Decom Systems, Inc,
Carlsbad, California, for Parallel Port Modules (48 bit TTL out, Decom
P/N 010421) and Accessories to populate existing (Quad 7) chassis that
has a proprietary bus. This notice is not a request for proposal, but
is a request for interested firmsto submit in writing documentation
demonstrating their ability to meet the requirement. Firms have 15 days
from date of publication of this notice to submit
qualifications/capabilities information. This procurement is being
conducted under the NASA MidRange Pilot Test Program approved by the
Office of Federal Procurement Policy on April 16, 1993. Request for
copies must be submitted in writing. Transmission by facsimile to
(805)258-2904 or by InternetE-mail to
roberta_ross@qmgate.dfrc.nasa.gov. is acceptable. Any concerns or
issues relative to this procurement should be addressed to the
Contracting Officer identified above. However, an ombudsman has also
been appointed to hearconcerns from offerors, potential offerors and
contractors if necessary. Interested parties may call the installation

disagreements and recommendations which cannot be resolved at the
