The Government believes that the cables referenced are only available from the Unisys Corporation and therefore intends to contract with the Unisys Corporation for the cables identified. The proposed procurement action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit to only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). This is not a request for proposals and no solicitation will be issued. Interested parties with the capability to manufacture specialized cables may send a letter of interest by mail (or fax 816-823-3447). Any inquiry must state the parties capability to manufacture specialized cables and provide at least one reference where work of a similar nature has been provided. Failure to provide this minimum information shall result in the request being considered nonresponsive. All responses of inquiry must be submitted within 15 calendar days of publication of this announcement. The equipment proposed for purchase is being purchased under the guidelines of FAR Part 13 as a small purchase.
