66 -- CONTINUOUS ULTRA-TRACE MERCURY VAPOR ANALYZER SOL DCN-ECC035 POC Otelia Newsome, Contract Specialist, 919-541-3164/Vickie Presnell, Contracting Officer, 919-541-3164. The Environmental Protection Agency has a requirement for a continuous ambient mercury vapor analyzer, brand name or equal to the Tekran Model 2537A, with an internal permeation source. The equipment shall weigh less than 60 pounds, have power requirements of 110/120 VAC; be less than 18'' wide, 9'' high, and 24'' deep. The equipment shall also have detection limits less than 0.20ng/m3; have a range of 0.20 - 2000 ng/m3; provide linearity less than or equal to 2%; use carrier gas (argon or other inert gas); contain a mass flow controller; possess an internal permeation injection source calibration; be equipped with rack mounting handles and include a metal transit shipping case with key locks. The equipment shall be listed by a third party listing approved by the North Carolina Building Code Council. Prior to shipping unlisted equipment to EPA a field inspection shall be performed by an approved agency. The field inspection shall be performed at the manufacturer's place of business and shall be included in the vendor's quotation. If the equipment fails the field inspection, the vendor shall make necessary changes to meet the listing agency's approval. The Government anticipates a firm fixed-price type contract. Interested parties may obtain a copy of the Request for Quotation by submitting a written request. A copy of the third party agencies accredited by the NCBCC to label electrical and mechanical equipment will be mailed with the Request for Quotation. This is a total small business set aside. The SIC is 3826 with a size standard of 500 employees. No telephonic requests will be honored. (0129)
