television system to be installed in the Fairchild AFB Youth Center.
Minimum specifications are: (1) The system must have at least 20
cameras and the ability to monitor all cameras through a central
controller; map for camera placement will be furnished. Each camera
should be CCD, Color, and have a minimum scan area of 500 x 482. Each
camera should be capable of C or CS mount lenses and support an auto
iris adjustment. The video output is to be 1.0 VPP composite video that
is NTSC or EIA standard, the output connector should be a BNC. Cameras
should have iris level, peak and v-phase adjustments and be mounted in
such a position that ambient light from windows/doors will not
interfere with image quality. (2) Exterior environmental housing, five
recommended, must have internal heaters and be air/water tight
enclosures; interior protective cages at least four, must protect
against abuse. All cameras must include appropriate mounting system to
adequately point and support each camera. (3) Monitoring of any one
camera or all cameras at any one time is required. Separate recording
ability is also required. Multiplexer with variable display, i.e. 1,
2x2, 3x3, 4x4 etc, is recommended and must have a method of supporting
all 20 cameras either through a single or multiple multiplexers. (4)
Video cassette recorders must have the ability for real time recording
for an optimum of 24 hour range. Play back on same VCR is required;
VHS format is recommended. (5) Monitors should be color with a
resolution of at least 450 lines and a ceiling mounted is required.
Diagonal length of 17 inches is recommended. (6) Multiplexer inputs
need to be BNC connectors and capable of operating with 1.0 VPP
composite video signal with 75 Ohm termination. Color capable is
required. Map of required camera placement and maps of the building's
existing lighting and power outlets will be furnished upon request.
There can be no installation of exposed conduit or wiring. Contractor
must furnish all cabling, wiring, connectors, etc. This proposed
procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. Simplified
