617-377-3085. Notice of contract action. The Government intends to
award a sole source Contract to CCOM Information Systems. Currently,
Hanscom AFB Communication Division has a requirement to provide
base-wide network phone directory service within a client-server
arvhitecture. The following capabilities are required for such a
directory based system. (1) Able to accommodate over five thousand user
enteries, with X.500 compliant attributes based on VINES StreetTalk
Directory Assistance (STDA)/StreetTalk (ST) directory capability. (2)
Ability to add non-Vines accounts via an inclusion list to STDA and to
the phone directory listing. (3) Use of a single data store, ST, thus
eliminating separate and duplicate database. (4) Utilize the database
to generate telephone directory listings at base, organization,and
office levels. (5) Allow access, display, print, and filter of
directory information such as, phone numbers, email address, building
location, fax numbers, etc. (6) Function within Banyan VINES Local Area
Network, ST, and STDA directory services for all users and network
services. (7) Be compatible with 2000 user licenses of PhoneLine that
are scheduled for phased rollout to the base community and meeting user
and operational functionality. Despite the Air Force's intent to
solicit only CCOM Information Systems, any firm that belives it can
meet the above requirement should respond to the above address in
writing within fifteen (15) days of this notice. Responders should
indicate whether they qualify as a small or small disadvantaged firm.
