This is a notice of intent to place an order with Los Angeles Cellular Telephone Co. for cellular telephone service on approximately sixty-five (65) Government owned cellular telephones with an estimated fifteen (15) additional Government owned cellular telephones to be added at a later date. Cellular telephone service will be required for a basic period with four (4) one-year option periods. The basic period will be from 01 October 1996 through 30 September 1997. Services required will be Access to Air Time during peak and off-peak times for local and long distance calls, Roaming Services during peak and off-peak times for local and long distance calls, Deaf and Hearing Impaired equipment, and Emergency 911 service. In addition, the Government will require the ability to add and terminate cellular telephone service on any phone during the contract term. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. Written responses, including GSA contract number, if applicable, prices, technical data sufficient enough to determine that a comparable source more advantageous to the Government is available, an order will be placed with the above named vendor. Responses must state that the vendor is not currently on the List of Parties Excluded from Federal Procurement or Nonprocurement Programs or on the List of Contractors Indebted to the United States or otherwise be ineligible to receive Government Contracts.
