Requests for a copy of the Solicitation are to be made in writing to the address above or FAX at (616)961-4474 A firm fixed price requirements contract(S) will result from Solicitation SP4400-96-R-0303 for the recovery of precious metals (Gold, Silver, platinum, Palladium) from scrap/items located at various Defense Reutilization and marketing offices (DRMOS) throughout the continental United States. The items will be picked up and processed by the contractor into a homogeneous state. Assays of samples will be used to determine amounts contained in themelts/lots. Settlement will be for equivalent amount of refined precious metals. The processing of only part of the material for the purpose of representing the whole is not allowed. Solicitation contains a Twelve month base period and two Twelve month optionperiods. There is the possibility of multiple awards based on geographic locations.
