Q -- PROFESSIONAL CODING AND ABSTRACTING OF INPATIENT TREATMENT RECORDS SOL DAHC35-96-B-0012 DUE 081996 POC Contract Specialist Eleanor Hall (703) 806-4470 or Contracting Officer Gloria Daws (703) 806-4607 (Site Code DAHC35) The U.S. Army Directorate of Contracting, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, intends to issue a solicitation for a contractor to provide personnel, management, and any other services necessary to perform professional coding and abstracting (entry of data) of Inpatient Treatment Records (ITRs) on- site within the Medical Records Administration Branch (MRAB), Patient Administration Division (PAD), at DeWitt Army Community Hospital, Fort Belvoir, Virginia. The contractor shall provide on site personnel who have as a minimum two (2) years experience within the last three (3) years in inpatient record coding in an acute care facility. On site personnel shall have successfully completed either the Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) training or Accredited Records Technician (ART) test. Period of performance shall be for a base period and four (4) option periods. This solicitation is a 100% set-aside for Small Business.
