Technical and Engineering Support Services for the Simulation and Stimulation Division, Atlantic Ranges and Facilities. Services will include, but not limited to: Engineering/Technical Studies, Simulation/Stimulation Support, System Integration and Operation/Maintenance for the Simulation and Stimulation Division. Specific services include: analysis design, fabrication, operation and maintenance of hardware, software, a new and modified equipment, interfaces, subsystems, documentation and operations, High Performance Computing Facility (HPCF) support within the Simulation and Stimulation Division. A cost reimbursement contract is the anticipated contract type for this effort. The estimated level of effort for the entire period of performance is approximately 1.2M hours. Labor categories include varying technical engineering experts such as Research Engineer, Senior Engineer, Technical Engineering Expert, Senior Systems Engineer, etc... requiring advanced degrees plus varying levels of technical support with extensive experience requirements and associated support staff. The subsequent contract will be for five years (the existing effort contract number is N00421-92-D-0161, incumbent contractor, PRB Associates Inc.). A TOP SECRET level facility clearance will be required for contract performance. The estimated solicitation date is 24 May 1996 with an estimated closing date of 24 June 1996.
