The Federal Aviation Administration, Southwest Region, intends to solicit and award a contract to Remove and Replace existing Underground Storage Tanks (UST) with newly installed Aboveground Storage Tanks (AST) located in the Lones Star System Management Office (SMO) at the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport, Fort Worth and Keller, Texas. The work consists of excavation, removal and disposal of the existing UST's, fuel contents, associated piping; removal and disposal of all concrete foundations, anchor pads, guard posts; proper disposal of the excavated materials including clean-up and disposal of any contaminated soils; installation and proper compaction of approved select backfill material; installation of new AST's as specified in Division IV, and restoration of all sites to their previous finished grade conditions in accordance with the specifications and attachments/drawings. Estimated price range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The proposed procurement is unrestricted regarding business size. The BOD is an approximate date only.
