The principal components of the work include: Preparing the existing rock slopes to receive rock bolts, rock anchors, and DTH mesh netting, including barring and scaling loose or unstable rock; providing Government access to the pumping plant and powerplant and maintaining protective measures for catching rock dislodged by the work activities and other construction hazards; furnishing and installing permanent, grouted rock bolts of up to 15 foot length; furnishing and installing permanent, grouted rock anchors of up to 5 foot lengths; furnishing and installing double-twist hexagonal mesh netting (DTHMN) over the prepared and rock bolted/achored slopes; and disposing of rock debris from stabilization activities and previous rock falls. All sources responding to this synopsis shall submit information relating to business status, including as to whether small, large, minority-owned, and/or woman-owned. This acquisition is an unrestricted procurement. The small business size standard for a concern, including its affiliates, is not to exceed $17 million in average annual receipts for its preceding 3 fiscal years.
