Z -- INTERIOR RENOVATIONS OF BLDG. 36, LINEN DISTRIBUTION CENTER SOL 556-10-96 DUE 062596 POC Contracting Officer, Pamela Smith, (847)578-3722 Contractor shall furnish all necessary material, equipment, tools, supplies, labor, services and supervision for the interior renovation of Bldg. 36, Linen Distribution Center, at the Dept. of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, North Chicago, IL. Work includes, but is not limited to removing existing suspended ceiling and lighting, and furnish/install new acoustical tile lay-in ceiling, suspension system and light fixtures, new concrete masonry unit partitions, new hollow metal stud and gypsum wallboard furred walls, new finishes for resilient floor tile, base and painting, new hollow metal doors, frames and hardware, removing existing lockers and lavatories, and furnish/install new lockers and lavatories, relocating existing sprinkler heads and piping, removing ceiling mounted fan heaters, and furnish/install new fan coil convection units. Estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The completion time for this project is 120 calendar days, after receipt of notice to proceed. A bid guarantee is required in an amount, not less than 20% of the bid price. This is a unrestricted procurement available to all responsible sources.
