Project consists of grading, draining, asphalt and concrete surfacing with curb and gutter on approximately 7800 feet of urban type streets. Also, cleaning, patching with seal and chip surfacing of approximately 6.81 miles of urban type streets on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, Shannon County, South Dakota. The estimated price range will be $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. Bidding material will be available after May 27, 1996 at a cost of $25.00 per set, non-refundable. Only a cashier's check or a money order is acceptable. This is a total Buy-Indian Set Aside for economic enterprises that are 51% Indian owned and controlled firms. ``Section 7(b) of Public Law 9-638 (25 U.S.C. 460E) and 41 CFR 14-1.354 require that preference opportunities in employment and training be given to Indian/Alaska native economic enterprises.
