Verhulst The DVAMC, Brecksville, OH intends to negotiate sole source with Northern Digital, Inc., Ontario, Canada, for the purchase of the Optotrak 3020 Three Dimensional Motion Measurement System and associated software. The system shall have the following capabilities: 1) three dimensional system with optical linear charge coupling device (LCCD); 2) pre-calibrated system that combines high accuracy of 0.1mm and high resolution of 0.01mm; 3) required software for real-time post-processing of the kinematic data; 4) ability to digitize surface contours that our spine and leg research requires; and 5) unequivocal identification of the large number of markers that spine kinematics requires. Interested offerors may identify their interest and capability to meet the requirements by submitting a capability statement which must contain adequate information on supplying this type of system, and qualification to provide the product. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
