70 -- BRAINTREE SQL-SECURE SOFTWARE DUE 052496 POC Contact Point, Beverly Brown, (202)720-8614 The United States Department of Agriculture, National Finance Center intends to procure from BrainTree Technology, Inc. the software product SQL-SECURE and software support. The software will be installed on an IBM RS/6000 computer system. This software has the following unique features: (1) Server-based security standards enforcement for Oracle passwords: password aging/expiration, password minimum length, password guessability check: username, dictionary word, etc., blank password check, alpha-numeric check, password history/reuse, random ''word-like'' password generation; (2) Oracle password synchronization; (3) Oracle intrusion detection/evasion; (4) Oracle user account expiration; (5) Unused Oracle account identification/expiration; (6) Oracle password change client (with password encryption); (7) Oracle password administrator change client (non-privileged) and API for application integration. All responsible sources are encouraged to respond. Only written responses will receive consideration. Responses must convey clear and convincing documentation of advantages to the Government to consider another source. The documentation shall include prices, GSA contract number (if applicable) and descriptive literature containing sufficient technical documentation to establish a bona fide capability to meet this requirement.
