D -- EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST DUE 060796 POC John Imparato (202) 433-2554 The Department of the Navy seeks Expressions of Interest (EOI) only to provide food and retail services for employees and visitors to the Historic Washington Navy Yard (WNY), Washington, DC, a base which will undergo a major population growth as a result of recently approved Base Closure and realignment actions. Food/retail support for this increased population can be provided in one or both of two existing WNY buildings: Bldg No 21 and/or Bldg 22, located on base within a short walking distance of to-be-constructed offices for the Naval Sea Systems Command and other Navy headquarters. The two buildings contain a combined area of approximately 43,000 square feet of space which is potentially available for development.
