in accordance with Article 10.6. G/TBT/NOTIF. 96.111. 1. Member to

Notified under Article 2.9.2. 4. Products covered (HS or CCCN where
applicable, otherwise national tariff heading. ICS numbers may be
provided in addition, where applicable): Narcotic drugs. 5. Title,
number of pages and language(s) of the notified document: Supervision
on Narcotic Drugs. 6. Description of content: The draft contains
provisions on import, export, manufacture, trade and storage of
narcotics. There are also provisions on documentation. Authorization by
the Medical Products Agency is required for import, export, manufacture
and wholesale. The draft contains minimum requirements on storage,
packaging and marking of narcotic drugs as well as on documentation.
There is also an obligation for persons importing or exporting
narcotics to report certain aspects to the Medical Products Agency. 7.
Objective and rationale: To maintain an adequate supervision on the
handling of narcotics in Sweden. 8. Relevant documents: Ordinance on

Narcotic Drugs, 1961, Convention on Psychotropic Substances, 1971. 9.
