66 -- REAL TIME RADIOSCOPY WITH AUTOMATIC DEFECT RECOGNITION SYSTEM SOL N00164-96-R-0096 DUE 052896 POC Contact - Ms. Terry Davis, Code 1164EJ, 812-854-3704/D. McDaniel, Contracting Officer The Navy requires 1 each Real Time Radioscopy with Automatic Defect Recognition (RTR/ADR) System for the inspection of M430, 40MM Cartridges. The RTR/ADR System will be utilized to automatically detect flawed M430 cartridges during the x-ray process. The RTR/ADR system will be a conveyorized, automatic inspection system which will detect low propellant levels, contaminated propellant, and/or absence of closure cup, or existence of more than one closure cup in the M430, 40 mm cartridge. The system shall be built in accordance with the NSWC Crane performance specification to be included in the Request for Proposals. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Crane within 60 days from date of contract. Inspection and acceptance will be at destination by the Government. This requirement is a 100% Small Business Set-aside, see Note 1.
