Design, develop, fabricate, test and deliver microwave, monolithic integrated circuits consisting of electronically tuned band pass filters and control circuitry, RF preamplifier, low pass filter, mixer, LO amplifier chain, IF amplifiers and IF low pass filter. Up to six monolithic chips may be used in the design. The RF input frequency range is 962 to 1213 Mhz with an LO range of 1223 to 1482 Mhz creating an IF to 276 Mhz. The IF bandwidth is sufficiently wide to also support the TACAN function with an IF of 261 Mhz. The monolithic circuits contained in the MMICs shall be arranged such that the electronically tuned filter with its supporting circuitry shall be mounted into a separate enclosure. The three pole filter should be accompanied with circuitry such as an EEPROM and D/A converter to convert a digital tune word to the analog tuning voltage. This circuitry should also be contained within a MMIC. The demonstration unit shall be delivered within one year after contract award and final deliverables within two years after contract award.
