The US Army intends to purchase services for an engineering analysis of the critical joint areas of the composite material components defining structure of the XM984 Extended Range Mortar Cartridge. The engineering study will include preliminary sketches, stress analyses, and limited testing of the joint areas in order to determine survivability during firing and in-flight. This procurement is being issued on a sole source basis to Intellitec, 2000 Brunswick Lane, Deland, Florida 32724-2001. Reference Note 22 (0131)
