Myers at (404) 842-6791 The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention contemplates award of a single contract for the establishment of a research synthesis system and the conduct associated activities in the area of HIV/AIDS prevention. More specifically, activities to be required include but are not limited to: (a) systematic identification and data gathering of existing relevant scientific studies; (b) creation of datasets using information gathered from such studies; (c) use of datasets in performing quantitative and statistical synthesis of information across studies; and (d) analyses as to how interventions and related contextual factors effect outcomes. The scheduled issue date is approximately May 30, 1996, with proposals due within thirty (30) days of the release date.
