Assessment of possible hydrocarbon pollution phenomenon at the power production facility, bldg. 416, S. Vito dei Normanni A.S., Brindisi, Italy. The supposed origin of the pollution can be considered migrating hydrocarbons from adjacent areas and possible hazardous waste spills. The Architect-Engineer firm shall perform required study in three phases. Phase I: preliminary site survey, review of previous remedial investigation and other pertinent data and the presentation of a comprehensive work plan. Phase II. execution of site exploration, testing, sampling and analysis. Phase III: preparation and presentation of a report containing pollution assessment, human and environmental risk assessment and remedial actions study. Work includes interface/coordination with Italian regulatory authorities and translation of work products into the Italian language.
